Here are the latest headlines from the local cluster of galaxies…

DANOTHIR: 

ESOTHIR: Danothir’s sister world is experiencing unusual climate activity due to a destabilization of their weather modification net. The southern continents are experiencing a 90% increase in rainfall.

PHAELONN: The fourth planet in the system is experiencing a climate change and is expected to become an arid world shortly. Flora and fauna are being extracted from the planet and replanted on garden and refuge worlds.

DELOTIR GALAXY: The galaxy is nearing collision with a dwarf satellite galaxy. Planets in the affected areas of the collision have been evacuated and the Universal Solar Guardianship is monitoring the situation.

UNIVERSE:

CAIR: A colony on the outermost-world of Cair (Cay-Air) has been attacked by Nulian forces. The region has been in dispute for the last decade, with Nulian Alliance forces claiming the system as their own. Trade disputes have escalated to armed conflict in the area. 400 million have been killed in the attack. The Alliance forces have currently occupied the planet.

NORIN IV: A traveling family band contracted a rare degenerative disease and infected a large portion of the colony on Norin IV. Two people have died and 70 are hospitalized.

VERNALIA: The Vernalians have abandoned their homeworld following radical climate shifts due to over-mining and unchecked industrialization. 200 million have died, but 7 billion have escaped to shelters and many are applying for refugee status in Alliance territory.

DEEP SPACE: A science scout has encountered a new world governed by a race of peaceful telepathic lizards. More information coming soon.

DEEP SPACE: A science scout has encountered a time traveling salesman who attempted to steal technology from the ship. The merchant has been arrested and placed into custody.

DEEP SPACE: The senior crew of a space station was inadvertently caught in a multi-dimensional game where the players were the officers themselves. The game was resolved, and the senior crew was returned unharmed.

DEEP SPACE: A race of space hamsters was saved from an extinction-level event thanks to the Alliance taskforce that destroyed several asteroids.

DEEP SPACE: The star 21-A from Galaxy 5 has gone nova. The area has been evacuated.

DEEP SPACE: The nebula 57-123348A has undergone initial stages of planet formation. The area has been relegated as off-limits to nearby traffic.
